A commission is confirmed the moment a payment is captured — but it is held while the money settles. Card and UPI payments reach Brain Grain on Razorpay's settlement cycle (typically 2 working days), and bank holidays push that out. On top of settlement we keep a short buffer so a refund can't leave anyone paid from money we returned.
Your dashboard shows exactly where each commission stands — clearing (still in the settlement window), available (safe to pay) or paid. Payouts go to your UPI; each one is dated for the earliest working day it can safely be sent.
Represent Brain Grain honestly. No spam, no misleading ads, no promising things a product doesn't do. Never tell anyone that a free resource is paid — our free-forever promise is the whole trust of this brand. Misrepresentation ends the partnership.
Commission is paid on real, voluntary purchases by real users. Buying through your own code, fake accounts, or paying someone to "buy" doesn't count — those sales are voided, not paid. This is why every commission is held until it settles.
Who you bring matters more than how many. If buyers you referred feel misled or ask for refunds, that reflects on you — refunded sales are voided, and a pattern of complaints can pause your code. Bring people the product genuinely helps.
Communicate professionally and respect the rules of wherever you share — no banned channels, no harassment, no false urgency. You're an independent partner, not an employee, and you speak for a product students rely on.
