Play it with your people

A countdown does not bring anyone back on a Wednesday — a friend does. Start a squad, send the five letters on WhatsApp, and everything the four of you score stacks into one total. No accounts, nothing to accept.

Three levels — all three open, right now

Each level is 10 TNPSC questions drawn from the Group 1, 2 and 4 banks at that exact difficulty. Nothing is locked and nothing ever gets taken away — score 6 or more to clear a level and claim it, but you may play any of the three, in any order, on any day. Every run adds its points to the season table whatever the score, and inside a Sunday live round those points are doubled.

Nobody walks away with nothing

This is the rule the whole event is built on. There is a reward for the person who tops the table and there is a reward for the person who came last and kept coming back — and there is a category award for almost everything in between.

Category awards

The champion is one person. These are for everyone else — and they are won by turning up, by improving, and by being steady, not only by being fastest.

One award per person. If you would win two, you get the bigger one and the other passes down the table — which is how more people end up holding something.

Every Sunday, all the way to the exam

One live round every Sunday, 11:00–12:00 AM, from 9 August to the last Sunday before the Group 1 prelims. Same time, same hour, every week — nothing to enter and nothing to qualify for. The dates below are fixed.

Nobody gets knocked out of the event

There is no bracket and no elimination. A knockout makes one Sunday thrilling and every Sunday after that irrelevant to most people, which is the opposite of what this is for. So the season runs on four rules that do not bend:

1. Every Sunday round is open to everyone. Nothing to enter, nothing to qualify for. Turn up at 11 and you are playing the same questions, on the same clock, at the same minute, for the same doubled points and the same rewards as everybody else.
2. Miss a Sunday and you lose nothing. You can play any level on any day and every point still goes on the same season table. Sunday is worth showing up for because it doubles, not because it is the only door.
3. A bad round cannot cost you the season. The table only ever adds. Nothing is deducted, nothing is forfeited, and your division is judged on this week's points — which reset — so the ladder is always climbable.
4. The awards are not all about being fastest. Most days played, best accuracy, most Sundays attended and biggest improvement are separate awards, judged against you rather than against the field.

You are meant to leave better at TNPSC

A prize is the reason to start. The reason to come back is that it works. After every single level you get a read-out of your accuracy, your speed per question and your best streak, measured against your own last run — not against a stranger — plus the topic that cost you the most marks today.

Every question shows you why the right answer is right, the moment you answer it. Thirty questions a Sunday is thirty explanations, and the explanations are the point.

Event terms

1. Free to enter. Nothing is charged, at any point, to play or to win.
2. Play on any day. The arena is open every day of the season; the points from every level you play are added to your season total.
3. Live rounds are Sundays, 11:00–12:00 AM IST, on the dates listed above. Points earned inside a live round count double, judged on our clock, not your device's.
4. The season closes after the last live round on 20 September 2026. Every award is called from the table as it stands at that moment, and winners are emailed within 48 hours.
5. You may retry a level as often as you like. Points are added each time; your best single run is kept separately, and a worse retry never takes away a level you have already cleared.
6. 6,300 points a day is the ceiling — six perfect levels. Past that you can keep playing for the practice, but the day stops adding to the table. This is deliberate: the top of the table should belong to whoever is best at TNPSC, not to whoever had the most free hours on one Tuesday.
7. No sign-up is required to play or to win. Your run is kept on your device and on the season table from the first question. We ask for an email at one point only — when you have won something and we need an address to send it to. Giving it also carries your progress to another phone.
8. One entry per person, and one award per person. Giving the same email again continues the same entry rather than starting a second one. If you would win two awards you receive the bigger one and the other passes to the next person.
9. Your name is public, your email is not. The points table shows only the name you type. We never publish an email or a phone number.
10. Rewards are issued to your registered email. We confirm a winning run by hand before a pass is granted. Offers apply to the TNPSC Test Series Pass and cannot be exchanged for cash.
11. Brain Grain may void an entry that is clearly automated or duplicated. Everything else stands.
12. Questions are the same free TNPSC bank the rest of the site uses. If you think one is wrong, tell us — we fix it.
