What the TNUSRB Police Constable actually is
- One common written examination recruits Grade II Police Constable, Grade II Jail Warder and Firemen.
- The paper is 100 objective questions for 100 marks in one hour.
- It comes in two parts: General Knowledge for 70 marks, and a Psychology test — aptitude and mental ability — for 30 marks.
- The minimum qualification for Grade II Police Constable is a pass in SSLC (Class 10).
- The written paper is only the first stage. Candidates who clear it go on to the Physical Measurement Test and the Physical Efficiency Test, then certificate verification, and the final list is made from all of them together.
- The question paper is set in Tamil and in English.
