Who We Are

Brain Grain provides free Samacheer Kalvi study resources, question papers, AI doubt support, reviews, and support request tools. Contact: thebraingrain@gmail.com. Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

Data We Collect

Contact details you submit, such as name, email, phone number, review comments, and support messages.
Payment-related details required to create and verify Cashfree payments, such as customer name, email, phone, amount, order ID, and payment status.
AI doubt data, such as grade, subject, question, selected page context, usage counts, and account/session identifiers.
Technical data such as page URL, browser type, approximate network/device signals, and analytics events.

Why We Use Data

To provide study pages, AI doubt solving, payment access, reviews, and support.
To prevent misuse, enforce fair usage, and keep AI access genuine.
To send support and review notifications to Brain Grain by email.
To improve content, fix issues, and understand how the site is used.

Children and Parents

Brain Grain is used by school students. Students under 18 should use paid, login, AI, review, and support features with parent or lawful guardian involvement. We do not knowingly use student data for targeted advertising.

Services We Use

We may use Supabase for authentication/storage, Cashfree for payments, OpenAI for AI doubt responses, Resend for email notifications, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity for analytics, and Netlify for hosting/functions.

AI Doubt Solver

AI questions are processed server-side. The OpenAI API key is not exposed to the browser. Please do not submit sensitive personal information in AI doubts. AI is for academic learning only and may make mistakes.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use browser storage, cookies, analytics scripts, and session tokens for login, usage limits, fraud prevention, and site improvement.

Your Choices

You may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent, or support regarding your personal data. Email thebraingrain@gmail.com with enough detail to identify your request.

Retention and Security

We keep data only as long as reasonably needed for study access, payment records, support, abuse prevention, legal obligations, and service improvement. We use server-side keys and access controls, but no internet service can be guaranteed completely secure.
